Prince Sadat Is The Most Influential TESCON President And Most Outstanding Student Politician - NASAAG Declares!!!

The TESCON President of the Wisconsin International University College, Prince Amadu Anuwar-Sadat was adjudged the “Influential TESCON President" and "Outstanding Student Politician of the Year” at the 2nd National Academy of Students' Achievement Awards (NASAAG) awards at the GNAT Hall in Accra on 11th September, 2021.

The President & Board Chairman of NASAAG, Mr. Riffath Yakub Abubakar, while giving his welcome address intimated that the event gives them the opportunity to bring together all Tertiary Students in the country to celebrate and award the most hardworking and deserving students and other stakeholders for their immense contributions and sacrifices towards education, entrepreneurship and leadership in the country.

The event attracted a lot of dignitaries, particularly those in the educational, business and political sector who graced the occasion.

In an interview with peacefmonline.com, the self-effacing and well composed Prince Sadat said “I am indeed humbled and dignified to receive this double honours. I wish to dedicate this award to all the people in my life whose continuous support and prayers made this happen. A special mention must be made of Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong (Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies); my bosses, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta (Minister for Finance), Alhaji Abubakar Abdul-Rahman (ALHAJI SHORT), for they have always given me the room to realize my full potential. Number 16, (Mr. William Ofori-Atta, Mr. Kwabena Marfo, Mr. Nuhu B. Mahama, Ahmed Bening, Nana Agyemang Daakyehene, Abraham Mensah Acquah, Ernie Mcninson and Awudu Kanton) I cannot love you less. Prince A. A. Sadat is a student of the Law Faculty of the Wisconsin International University College Ghana offering a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. He is currently a Senior Research Assistant at the Campaign Fund Raising Office of H. E. the President (Number 16) and also a Press & Media Aide to Alhaji Short (former Member of the Council of State). Prince Sadat is also the TESCON President for Wisconsin University and the Chief Justice for the Ghana Union of Professional Students. He has previously worked for corporate giants like Vodafone Ghana, Fidelity Bank Limited, Glico Life Insurance Company Limited; and has over ten (10) years of work experience in corporate Ghana.

He has also worked as Personal Assistant to some of the finest politicians in the country. And his contributions towards the 2016 and 2020 victory of the NPP and H. E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo cannot be overemphasized. He is a prolific writer with over 100 publications on social and political issues of national interest to his name; and has received several awards both in the corporate space and in politics as well.

Other noted awardees for the night includes Alhaji Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu (Century Award in Promotion of Peace & Unity), Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum (Politician in Youth Education Development), Rev. Fr. Indeed, it was a memorable occasion that provided the opportunity to the students to interact and socialize among themselves.
