Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Mame Yaa Aboagye has chided former President John Mahama for calling on the current government to complete projects his government started.

According to her, Mahama's government abandoned some projects started by the former Presidents, John Agyekum Kufuor's governments to rot.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has lamented about the number of social infrastructure and economic projects abandoned by the NPP government.

Mr. Mahama made this comment during a courtesy call on the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs in Koforidua on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

But Mame Yaa Aboagye has lambasted him saying “Mahama has no moral right to advise the current government to complete his projects. Yes he cannot be accusing any government of something he is guilty of. He has no credibility to talk about such matters and cannot be allowed to run his mouth just to scheme his way back to government”.

Mame Yaa Aboagye emphasized how Mr. Mahama left former President Kufuor's project to rot.

“Mahama refused to complete Kufour's projects leaving them to rot in his 8 years in government. Clear examples are the Nsawam Apedwa road project, affordable housing projects and others left in the bush to rot and because of power, you’ve been going round with his guilty face talking about an abandoned project. 

“What projects have been abandoned? How come you couldn’t finish any project that you started? Nana Addo is now seriously completing all Kufour's projects you did not even look at.  He has also completed most of the ones you could not complete as a result of your incompetence. As for Mahama,never again!” she said
