I Like Twene Jonas's 'The System Is Working 24/7' Catch-phrase - Kojo Oppong Nkrumah

''The system is working 24/7'' has become a popular phrase in Ghana and it originates from a Ghanaian YouTuber, Twene Jonas, who has been extremly critical of the Government of Ghana.

Twene Jonas has, in a series of videos, been seen and heard bashing the leaders in Ghana and most times using unprintable words to describe their behaviour and abysmal performances.

Twene Jonas, who resides in the United States of America and has earned the nickname 'Glass Nkoaa' - to wit buildings everywhere in America, specifically New York City where he lives, among other notable sites are beautifully clad with glasses and the roads neatly constructed to ease traffic situation.

He also touches on infrastructure developmental projects in the country, on which he stands to lambast leaders in Ghana.

Some people like him for his criticisms while others dislike his presentation, however it looks like Twene Jonas is unperturbed by the public backlash and threats by some individuals in the ruling New Patriotic Party which have pledged to ensure he is deported to Ghana.

However, it may interest many people to know that the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, is a fan of Twene Jonas.

Discussing government interventions and initiatives to transform the economy in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's morning show ''Kokrokoo'', the Minister borrowed Twene Jonas' expression in delivering his submissions.

He confessed that he likes watching his videos.

''There is this gentleman I like watching his videos on Facebook. He's Twene Jonas. I usually watch him although sometimes the insult is too much which is very awful," he told the host.

"Nonetheless, I like an expression he always uses which is the system is working 24/7," Hon. Oppong Nkrumah hopped on Twene Jonas' catchphrase.
