PUBLIC NOTICE
THE REGISTRAR-GENERAL’S DEPARTMENT WISHES TO INFORM ITS CHERISHED CLIENTS AND THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY THAT RENEWAL OF BUSINESS NAMES (SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP) CAN NOW BE DONE ON THE PHONE BY DIALLING THE SHORT CODE *222# ON ALL NETWORKS.
HOW?
1. Dial *222# on any Telecommunication Network (MTN, AirtelTigo, Vodafone)
2. Select RGD and Enter your Business Name Registration Number (BN00*****)
3. Select “File Annual Renewal”
4. An SMS link will be sent to you, kindly click on the link (https://ghana.gov.gh) and it will take you to the payment platform. Sign up if you are a new user.
5. Go back to the SMS link and now login with your credentials (email address and password) and proceed with your payment using any of the payment modes.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DEPARTMENT WILL NOT MANUALLY RENEW BUSINESS NAMES AT ITS OFFICES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1ST, 2022. WE THEREFORE URGE ALL BUSINESS NAME OWNERS TO USE THE SHORT CODE FOR THEIR BUSINESS NAME RENEWALS.
