I Will Deal With Anyone Who Attempts To ‘Sabotage’ President Akufo-Addo - Hajia Fati Warns

A vocal member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hajia Fati says she will ruthlessly deal with anyone who attempts to sabotage President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.

She claimed to have suffered to ensure Nana Akufo-Addo’s presidency – hence, will not sit unconcerned to watch others jeopardize his administration.

“You know what I can do, I will not let anyone bring Nana Addo’s government to disrepute,” she warned in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show, 'Ghana Montie'.

Hajia Fati was discussing her involvement in the retrieval of excavators from illegal small-scale mining (galamsey) sites in parts of the country.

According to her, she needs no permission from 'anyone' to carry such exercise since she has a security contract with the government years back.

She told host Kwesi Aboagye that allegations that President Nana Addo is selling seized excavators compelled her to make the move to retrieve them from hidden places across the country.

Hajia Fati, however, urged that the excavators should be released to their rightful owners.
