St Peters' Alumnus Donates GHC 10000 To Support Renovation Of Basketball Court

An old student of St Peter's SHS, Frank Mireku has donated cash of GHC 10000 to the school's 2001 Old Students Association to help in the renovation of a basketball court on the campus.

Frank Mireku, popularly known as 'Stableman', who hails from the Abirem Constituency and was part of the St Peter's 2001 Year Group, made the cash donation in connection with the group's celebration of their 20 years anniversary after graduating.

Vice President of the Association, James Addo and his Organizer, Kwaku Danquah received the cash on behalf of the Old Students Association.

The purpose of this donation, according to Frank Mireku, is towards the construction of the basketball court.

Speaking to the media after the donation, the Vice President James Addo expressed gratitude to their colleague for his kind gesture for the school and promised to make good use of it.

He also urged the students to take their education seriously, so they become successful leaders.

On the of the philanthropist, Mr. Mireku pledged his commitment as well as his fellow PERSCOBA squad to ensuring the school is well resourced.

Furthermore, he was  confident that the school will emerge winner in next year's National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) competition.

St. Peter's Senior High School (PERSCO) is a Roman Catholic all male Senior High School in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The school was established in 1957 by the Divine Word Missionaries (SVD) and is located in the town of Nkwatia Kwahu on the Kwahu Ridge.
