Broadcaster Kwami Sefa Kayi has received an award for his selfless and great works in media and to humanity.

Mr. Sefa Kayi was awarded with Most Influential Man Award and Media Development Award at the GhanaWeb Excellence Awards held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at the Accra City Hotel.

The black-tie event was climaxed with a total of 20 personalities and organizations taking home awards in honour of their significant contributions to national development.

The multiple award-winning broadcaster won this Influential Man Award among the nominees namely the late former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings, Henry Quartey, Bernard Avle and Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams.

For the Media Development Award, the nominees included broadcaster Captain Smart, seasoned journalist Kweku Baako Jnr., Kwame Karikari and Bernard Avle.
