Sports Ministry Unable To Send Supporters To AFCON Due To COVID-19
The Ministry of Youth and Sports says it is “constrained in sending supporters” to Cameroon for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer Kenneth Annang, the Ministry explained due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no supporter will be airlifted.
However, “African Origin travel and tours has been authorized to facilitate travel for a limited number of Ghanaians who may seek to attend the games on their own”
