I Can’t Fight The NDC – Koku Anyidoho

Despite his sometimes ‘harsh’ criticisms directed to his party after his dismissal, Samuel Koku Anyidoho seems to have a little soft spot for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The former NDC deputy Chief Scribe has been outspoken and, on several occasions, do not side with his party’s ideologies on state issues.

Recently, a publication attributed to him captioned “Mahama, others will be embarrassed at the launch of Atta Mills Memorial Heritage” has sparked another debate that the late president’s ‘darling boy’ is at loggerhead with the current leadership of his party.

According to Koku, former President John Dramani Mahama together with some renowned academics who will be launching the John Evans Atta Mills Memorial (JEAM) Heritage today, February 1, will be badly embarrassed and exposed.

In a circular on Wednesday, January 26, a statement signed by former Health Minister, Mr. Alex Segbefia said former President John Mahama and revered academics will perform the official ceremony at the Cedi Conference Centre at the University of Ghana to establish JEAM.

Fake event

But Samuel Koku Anyidoho says he feels pity for those who will attend Mahama’s 'fake' event.

“I pity the, respected and revered persons who are being misled and hoodwinked into being at a certain fake event tomorrow at the Cedi Auditorium, at the University of Ghana, Legon. People are going to be badly, Exposed and Embarrassed,” he tweeted

Infight speculation

His comment according to many suggests his wrath with the leadership of the NDC and their former presidential candidate, John Dramni Mahama.

No fight

But the Founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute insists that he has no issues whatsoever with the ‘umbrella’ party.

“There is no issue, I cannot fight the NDC,” he told the host of NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’.
