The chief of Brekuso who is also the Twafohene of Akuapim Traditional Area Odeefoo Oteng Korankye ll has led fundraising ceremony in the aid to construct a free hostel for the Twafoman Senior High Technical School.

According to Odeefoo Oteng Korankye ll, the school is made of students from far and near so there’s the need for the construction of a hostel.

He said the hostel will provide free accommodation for the students which he believes will improve the performance of the students and also attract more students.

Speaking to the media, Odeefoo Oteng Korankye ll stated that, the school is still not under Government but they are in talks with the Government to adopt the school, Twafoman Senior High Technical School as one of the TVET school in Akuapim South Municipality.

Odeefoo Oteng Korankye ll took the opportunity to encourage parents to bring their wards to Twafoman Senior High Technical School and also urged the junior high students to have interest in Technical schools.
