Sly Tetteh Fetes Over 500 Widows At BNA

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom, Sylvester Tetteh, on 15th March, hosted a get-together for widows and widowers in his constituency to familiarize with them and get to know their problems.

The gesture, according to the MP for BNA, was intended to put smiles on the faces of the widows who are mostly forgotten in society because they are voiceless.

Also, he did that to fulfil scripture which admonishes Christians and the church in (1 Timothy 5:3) to honour widows and women who are in need.

Hon Sylvester Tetteh who is also the Board Chairman of the Ghana Enterprise Agency formerly National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) admonished Ghanaians, especially the well-to-do, to assist such persons with the needed assistance to enable them to improve upon their standard of living.

Touching on how his office has faired since he assumed office, he said he has done lots of infrastructural projects in his constituency in just one year and some months as an MP and will continue to advocate for development for the constituency.

The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Member of Parliament for remembering them and asked for God’s blessings for him in the year ahead.
