World Cup Play-Off: We Have The Quality And The Hunger To Qualify To The World Cup - Chris Hughton

Coach Chris Hughton the Technical Advisor to the Black Stars of Ghana, remains confident the senior national team, has the quality materials who are desirous and hungry to see off perennial rivals, Nigeria to qualify to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. 

Ghana would renew her rivalry with Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, March 25, before the return encounter four days later in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Black Stars would be aiming for a favourable result at home before travelling to the West African country for the second leg.

Coach Hughton, speaking ahead of the crucial clash said, it was the aim of the team to qualify and play at the world stage, adding that, the players, technical team, the Ghana Football Association and the government were committed to the herculean task.  

He said, "We strongly believe we have the quality, desire and hunger to achieve the results we want. It is our aim to qualify for Qatar World Cup and we all have the duty to make that dream a reality. 

"We are Ghana, and we are ready for the match. Ghana has done it before, and we will do it again. This is the opportunity to write history and we all committed to it from players to technical team, to GFA and the government."

The former footballer and Nottingham Forest coach entreated Ghanaians to remain calm and be positive towards the Black Stars to help achieve the desired results needed.
