Kevin-Prince Boateng Set For First Game In Ghana

German-born Kevin Prince Boateng will play his first game in Ghanaian soil on Friday when the Black Stars take on Congo in a 2012 Nations Cup qualifier in Kumasi. Boateng has been mobbed by fans in Accra and Kumasi since he arrived on Monday. While it will also be his first game in for Ghana on home soil, the player whose birthday coincides with Ghanas independence day, says he is enjoying the reception from the fans. I know it [game against Congo] would be my first game but Im enjoying every minute of my time here [Kumasi]. I would be happy to play my first game in Ghana. The reception from the fans in Accra was good and Kumasi is also the same. I feel great being here, Boateng said. Kevin has featured in six games for the senior team, scoring once against the United States in 2-1 win for Ghana at the 2010 World Cup.
