2023 AFCON Qualifiers: Otto Addo Makes 7 Changes To Black Stars’ Starting XI To Face Central African Republic

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced his starting XI to face the Central African Republic’s Wild Beast in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

The 46-year-old has made 7 changes to the starting XI he assembled against Madagascar on Wednesday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Ajax Amsterdam midfield gem Kudus Mohammed is among the players who have held down their places in his squad.

Addo has also maintained Gideon Mensah and Daniel Amartey, but Denis Odoi who was largely successful against Madagascar’s Barea has been dropped to the bench.

 
Captain Andre Ayew is among the players who have been benched.

Jojo Wollacott kept his fourth clean sheet in 10 appearances for the Black Stars when he got the nod to man the goalpost against the Islanders but he has been benched for Ati-Zigi.

Real Mallorca midfielder Baba Iddrisu Mohammed and Jordan Ayew have all lost their starting places in the team.
