Oseadeeyo Nana Kumi Kodie I Storms Ohum Festival

The Founder and Chairman of Dadaba group of companies and Nkosuohene of Akyem Osiem, Oseadeeyo Nana Kumi Kodie I has admonished the youth to embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship.

According to him, entrepreneurs are self-motivated individuals who strive to do something new and unique on their own without depending on the government for jobs.

He stated that we need persons who can boldly take risks, identify opportunities, and create employment opportunities for themselves and the people around them.

He posited that entrepreneurship is considered a driving force of our society and the nation’s economy.

He further indicated that when young people embrace entrepreneurship, they are not just creating opportunities and wealth for themselves but also contributing to the overall development of the organization and the economy.

He made the remarks when he stormed the 2022 Ohum festival celebrated under the authority of the Okyehene Osagyefo Amotia Oforipanyin.

He underscored the need for the youth to avoid acts that will undermine their progress, and rather focus on things that will transform their lives.

He said the youth have a major role to play in the development of their communities and the nation at large hence the need for them to be responsible, law-abiding, and patriotic.

The philanthropist was joined by some Italian investors who have expressed. interest in supporting in embarking on several initiatives.

He is the founder of The Eye of Africa Foundation together with his partners from abroad.

The Eye of Africa is an NGO that seeks to create sustainable communities by providing technological and infrastructural developments through partnerships with community leaders and chiefs.

The foundation collaborates with traditional rulers with natural/raw materials with ideas of developing their communities through industrialization.

Aside from these initiates, Oseadeeyo Nana Kumi Kodie I has over the years supported widows and widowers with monthly stipends who are above 60 years.
