Work Hard Through The Right Channels For Wealth - Dr. Akyeaw
Bishop Dr. Richard Owusu Akyeaw, the Founder and General Overseer of the Living Grace Ministries International has entreated the youth to work hard and use the appropriate channels in acquiring wealth.
He urged them not to rush, to use dubious means to become rich overnight because that approach had been the cause of premature deaths among the youth.
Dr. Akyeaw gave the advice when he was speaking at a day’s youth-oriented guidance conference jointly organized by youth-interest groups, including the Sunyani Youth Development Association on the theme “The Youth-Our Future” in Sunyani.
He said, “life is a process” that required one to go through gradually for one to triumph, saying in that sense wealth acquired could be enjoyed peacefully to the end to benefit the family, community, and the nation in general.
He admonished the youth not to preoccupy themselves with money, flamboyant dressings and riding in posh cars but be determined and focused with a great deal of acceptable ethics of society as guiding principles.
He said there was no gain or success without suffering but that was what many of the youth of today had refused to accept, stressing if you wanted to make money without suffering, the result would be sudden death.
Giving a brief history of his life, Bishop Dr. Akyeaw said all was not rosy during his infancy and youthful days but that did not deter him from moving on to achieve the goal he had set for himself according to the will of God.
He implied if one was born into a poor home, it did not mean one was destined to be poor because “God has a great future and a purpose for every individual.”
Dr. Akyeaw, therefore, urged the youth not to give up on life by opting for get-rich quick ways for monetary gains because everybody would one day die and leave every wealth acquired on earth behind.
He stressed the youth must work harder either as a student or an apprentice now, saying with prayer and constancy of purpose they would break through to realize their visions of becoming good future leaders.
