The Get Atta Mills Endorsed (GAME) campaign team has advised former President Rawlings and his wife to be prepared to accept the verdict of NDC delegates in the upcoming Sunyani Congress on July 8, which would elect a flagbearer for the 2012 elections. This is in reaction to comments made by former President Rawlings signalling that if President Mills �refuses to accept the will of the people on July 8, the inevitable will happen�. Speaking at the 32nd commemoration of the June 4 uprising at the Jubilee Park in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, Mr Rawlings said he is confident that his wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings would win the Sunyani Congress and be elected flagbearer of the party. Reacting to the comments made by the Founder of the NDC party, spokesperson for GAME, Barbara Asamoah told Citi News that President Mills is prepared to accept the verdict of the delegates. According to her, Mr. Rawlings and his wife Nana Konadu should also do same when delegates decide who leads the party in July. Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says it would respond officially after deliberations about what they call unsavoury comments by former President Rawlings during the June 4th celebrations. The former President on Saturday attacked the erstwhile Kufuor administration, accusing it of �massive corruption�, and accused the Mills administration of failing to prosecute alleged corrupt officials of the former government. The General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, said former President Rawlings� outburst is nothing new but a serious indictment of the NDC.
