Cardma Academy Now Operational

The long wait is finally over for the official opening of Cardma Academy, a Christian Educational Institute located at Atadeka, within Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra. The Management of the School, Staff, students and invited guests gathered on Tuesday, September 20, to witness the official opening of the School.

The Special Guest of Honour for the occasion was Rev. Lemuel  Quarshie Martey of the Bethel Methodist Church, Zenu. In his speech, he commended the Founders and Management of Cardma Academy for taking such a bold step. “In many parts of our country today, the focus for owning and managing a private school has drifted from nurturing the children to simply making money. Many school owners no longer pay attention to the holistic upbringing of the children. They see running a school as a money-making venture and neglect the need to imbibe strict principles to grow the children to become responsible adults” he said.

The Chairperson for the occasion, Mrs. Comfort Tetteh Nanor, CEO of Nona Graceland School added “having run a Christian Educational Institute for the past seven years, I can boldly say that the leadership of Cardma has taken a course to transform the society where they are, and where children who go through this great school will be in the future. Kudos to the founders and leaders of Cardma Academy”. She called on the staff and parents to buy into the vision and fully support it.

Addressing the attendees, the CEO of Cardma Academy Mrs. Beatrice T. Ekuful Biney expressed her gratitude to all who have contributed to seeing the vision come alive, especially her husband, Rev Douglas E. K. Biney who is also the Human Resource of the school. “As we officially take off, we continue to count on your support and feedback. We also welcome collaborations and partnerships which will be of benefit to us and other parties who may be involved” she added.

The Headmistress, Mrs. Evelyn Donkor Biney in her speech, acknowledged the Staff for their dedication towards the growth of the School. She said, “parents can count on our team of trained professionals who are well cut out for this work. We understand the pressures you go through in seeking to raise your children, and we are dedicated to giving you the required support any excellent institution can offer. Count on us!”.
