'Kume Preko Reloaded' Demonstration Really Cost Me Money - Martin Kpebu

Organizer of the 'Kume Preko Reloaded' Demonstration, Lawyer Martin Kpebu, has denied speculations that he belongs to the largest opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) and that he is lacing his boot to contest the Kpandai constituency seat on the ticket of the aforementioned political party.

According to him, he does not belong to any political party and does not have any such intention.

Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that no political party funded his 'kume preko reloaded' demonstration.

He expalins that though he had support from some private citizens and non-political groups, he did not accept any financial support from any political party.

"The 'kume preko reloaded' demonstration has really cost me money," he noted.

He added that as a floating voter, he joined millions of Ghanaians who believed in the promises of then candidate Nana Akufo-Addo to turn things around when elected as President but unfortunately, he has failed to show class in leadership.

He, however, reiterated that he does not belong to any political party and as such does not want to be associated with that.

"I want to be in my small corner and do what I can to support my country in every small way I can," he maintained.
