Political Assistant, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Nana Poku Frefre says his boss will determine who becomes a regional executive for the NDC in the region.
 
“As he did in the immediate past two regional elections of the NDC, Chairman Wontumi influenced the outcome of their recently-held constituency elections in the region, and would not rest on his laurels till he decides the composition of their regional executive committee as well,” he said in a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako is making a fervent vow that he will once again determine who becomes the Regional Executive member for the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Ashanti Region.
 
As he did in the immediate past two regional elections of the NDC, Chairman Wontumi influenced the outcome of their recently-held constituency elections in the region, and would not rest on his laurels till he decides the composition of their regional executive committee as well. This is part of the steps toward the absolute preservation of the NPP’s dominance in the Ashanti Region for 2024 and beyond.
 
We seize this opportunity to wish the NDC violence-free regional elections, albeit, pockets of violence, standoff, and even in some cases, no elections, have characterised their internal elections in the region and across the country.
