CCLG-Africa Organize Climate Communication Forum @ COP27

The Climate Communications and Local Governance-Africa (CCLG ) has organised a communication forum for Journalists at the on-going climate change conference COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

The program was aimed at enabling climate communicators especially Journalists to share their experiences and challenges in reporting climate and environmental issues in their respective countries.

The forum identified a number of ways and strategic planning tools in communicating climate change at the local level.

The forum highlighted the gap in communicating climate change.

Panellists were from Malawi, Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Brazil and the communication officer from the Climate Vulnerable Forum, the President of CCLG-Africa Kofi Don-Agor call on communicators on climate change especially Journalists to support the idea of bringing all communicators in Africa together.

Ghana was highly praised by organizing, coordinating and showing the pathway of connecting all communicators on climate change communications.
