NDC Chairmanship Race: Group Throws Support For Asiedu Nketia

Some delegates of the Fanteakwa North Constituency have declared their unflinching support for Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia who is vying for the chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress.

According to them, after a careful study and understanding of the campaign messages and vision statements of all the candidates vying for the chairmanship position, it is Mr. Asiedu Nketia's message which syncs well with constituency executives and the grass root supporters of the party.

Speaking on Okay Fm's Ade Akye Abia programme, NDC Communications officer for Fanteakwa constituency, Mohammed Awal explained that Mr. Asiedu Nketia is a fearless character who will not ran away from battles.

"He is equally the only national officer who prior to the 2020 elections supported the party in campaigning. We believe that Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia is a man of his words, who would open his doors when we call on him in times of need," he said.

He maintained that the party needs to secure power in 2024 and the only person who has the qualities of loyalty, bravery and commitment that can help the opposition party achieve that is Asiedu Nketia who has shown exhibited those leadership traits over the years as general secretary.

"We as delegates will like to mention also that the soul of the NDC is with Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia and that we will vote for him," he added, and further implored all delegates to vote en masse for Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia come 17th December 2022 to steer their affairs of the party.
