'I See Fire Ahead' . . . - Dr Otchere Ankrah Speaks On Sticka & K.T Hammond Combo

"I see fire ahead," says Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, a Governance Lecturer at Central University.

Dr Otchere-Ankrah was reacting to a recent shakeup made by President Akufo-Addo.

The ministerial shakeup

President Akufo-Addo, on February 7, 2023; nominated K.T Hammond (MP for Adansi Asokwa) as the minister-designate for Trade and Industry and Bryan Acheampong (MP for Abetifi) as the minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.

Stephen Asamoah Boateng (Asabee) is heading to the Ministry of Chieftaincy; Mohammed Amin Adam as Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance and Osei Bonsu Amoah as Minister of State for Local Government.

Stephen Amoah, popularly known as Sticka the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, was also appointed a Deputy Minister-designate for Trade and Industry.

Herbert Krapah, previously the deputy Trade Minister was also moved to the Energy Ministry with the same rank.

Dr Otchere Ankrah speaking in a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' said the President had it wrong with this shakeup adding "but it's not surprising because he said he doesn't believe in reshuffle".

"Sticka is my friend; he is a firebrand and never loses an argument . . . K.T. Hammond is also a firebrand and both have been taken to one ministry . . . if the two will be advised to work together it will help, otherwise I see fire ahead."

The same thing applies to O.B Amoah and Dan Botwe's combination, according to him.
