Kwahu: Atibie NMTC TESCON Holds Handing Over And Induction Of New Members

The TESCON chapter of the Atibie Midwifery and Nursing Training College (NMTC) has conducted a handing over of newly elected executives to lead the chapter.

The event was also used to induct newly admitted student nurses who have joined the TESCON chapter.

At the handing over held on Saturday, February 25 at the NMTC Auditorium in Atibie, the Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency, David Ansah Opoku charged the newly elected executives to take charge and steer the affairs of the chapter firmly to help the NPP in breaking the 8 in the upcoming 2024 General elections.

“Let’s all be helpful to each other. The NPP is a better government that will continue to provide you access to education and other forms of economic relief. “,

The MP commended the immediate past executives for their relentless effort and support for the youth Wing of the NPP. Mr. Ansah further took a swipe at the NDC for falsifying propaganda around the current economic challenges the country is facing.

“Don’t pay heed to what John Mahama and the NDC is saying. They have absolutely nothing to offer you. If the NDC says NPP has mismanaged the Economy, it’s a big lie. A big lie in the sense that, during NPP there was covid-19 and we all saw the impact it had on all of us. During John Mahama’s administration, there was no covid-19 but the NDC took Ghana to IMF, so compare the two, who’s telling lies?”, he said.

He charged the students to inculcate in them the best disciplinary behaviours to aid them in access to higher positions. He said the contributions of the NMTC chapter count greatly if the NPP will maintain and hold on to power.

The deputy National Youth Organizer, Sandra Sarkodie -Addo commended the past executives for their bravery in making sure the NPP maintained power during the 2020 general elections. she further urged the new executives to take charge and put the affairs of the NPP up to secure victory in the 2024 general elections.

She added that the NPP is the best political party to manage the affairs of the Ghanaian economy.

The Eastern Regional NPP Youth Organizer, Mr. Adamu Musah Raha said he will do everything in his power to achieve their aim since they want to break the eight. “The reason behind my excitement is because we have been able to capture the youth and people have hope in us so we will make sure to put them in a better position”, he said.

“It is beneficial for every student to join Tescon because we must serve our people and these students just need to be recognized and be posted when they complete school however, we will make sure to place our people very well. We have been doing it and we will do it again to serve our people”, he added.

He urged everyone to have faith in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because NDC is not a better option. Mr. Adamu said NDC will make Ghanaians suffer if they come into power so Ghanaians should wise up.

A total of 13 new executives were reelected to take up the new challenge of the Atibie NMTC TESCON chapter.
