Netflix viewers were shocked after a 2017 Rotten Tomatoes flop rose to number one on the streaming service's most-watched list this week.

The Snowman, which featured Michael Fassbender as the protagonist, was directed by Tomas Alfredson and an adaptation of the novel by Jo Nesbo.

In the film, Detective Harry Hole (Fassbender) investigated the disappearance of a woman in early winter and realised that the case may be related to a Snowman.
