It Makes No Sense To Compare Me To Sarkodie - Black Sherif

Ghana's reigning artiste of the year, Black Sherif has paid his utmost respect to the King of Rap, Sarkodie as his collaboration on Sarkodie's album has paid off big time both in Ghana and across the world.

The 'Kweku the Traveller' hit maker, who just won Artiste of the Year of the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, noted on UTV's Saturday's entertainment show "United Showbiz", after he was asked about his take on critics who say he made Sarkodie's "Countryside" song a major hit globally, noted that Sarkodie is his senior in music and that he believed even if his voice wasn't on the song, it still would have made great strides.

Black Sherif also answered those comparing him to Sarkodie, stating "it makes no sense" to compare him to the Landlord and stressed that he and Sarkodie are both focused, thus not distracted by negative comments.

He further noted that they both have peculiar destinies and no one can alter their destinies.
