Dennis Miracles, a member of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's camp, has expressed optimism about the New Patriotic Party's upcoming presidential election to go in favor of the Vice President.

The Director of Local Government Services at the Presidency revealed to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show that over 80 percent of the delegates are ready to vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the party into the 2024 elections.

He noted that Dr. Bawumia is the party's best shot at winning next year's presidential elections and in view of this, the team of which he is part are working assiduously to make this dream a reality.

Dennis illustrated how he is working to woo the delegates to join the Bawumia camp.

"I have the list of the people that I am personally working on and when I finalize my talks with you, I mark it with a color. Some are green meaning we have finished our talks and others are yellow meaning they are wavering, so we are still working on them. And we have those who are red meaning they have decided not to be on our side, so I keep calling them every morning. On Saturdays, I drive to two or three of the red ones to talk with them," he stated.

He also disclosed that a key member of one of the aspirant's campaign team will soon defect to join the Vice President's camp, an indication of the team's eagerness to make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the NPP flagbearer.

To Dennis Miracles, a win for Bawumia is a win for the NPP and Ghana.

"If we don't win the 2024 elections, it is not only the NPP that will struggle. The country will struggle because we have a lot of things that we have set in motion that we must complete," he emphasized.
