Dennis Miracles has shared his thoughts on the decision by the National Executive Council of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to decentralize their forthcoming Super Delegates Conference on August 26.

The Super Delegates Conference is aimed at electing five out of ten candidates vying for the Presidential position of the party.

During the executives and aspirants' meeting, majority of them agreed for the party to hold the conference across the Regions.

The majority were made up of 73 against 9 people who disagreed with the decision, Dennis Miracles disclosed on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show.

In latest development, a group of NPP supporters from Greater Accra and Central Region are protesting the decision, claiming the election will only be fair and transparent when the conference is centralized.

"We have heard that NEC want to decentralize the super delegates conference, we will resist every attempt. It must be decentralized," Convener of the Group, Yaw Obeng Boateng said in a media interview.

Reacting to the issue, Dennis Miracles noted that what format the election will take, whether centralized or otherwise, isn't much of a concern to him.

To him, his interest lies in the party having a successful congress.

"The only thing that will make me worried about the electoral process is if a delegate is denied the right to vote. But whether it is centralized, whether it's decentralized, whether it is in the air; even if it is in the air and the party say we will hold the election in the air and we use Boeing 377 to convey the delegates into the air to cast their votes, why am I worried as a candidate?"
