AFCON 2023 Qualifier: Ghana Beat Central African Republic To Qualify

Ghana's Black Stars have beaten their Central African Republic counterparts two goals to one to qualify for the 2023 African Cup of Nations.  

Ghana has thus picked a ticket for the Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 in January next year.

Central African Republic's Loius Mafouta scored first in the 25th minute before an equalizer from a Mohammed Kudus free kick in the 43rd minute brought hopes back before the break.

Substitute Antoine Semenyo lay a sublime pass to Ernest Nuamah for a tap-in in the 88th minute to give the Black Stars all the three points at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. 

In the other Group E final match, Madagascar held Angola to a goaless draw at the Estádio Nacional da Tundavala in Lubangomaking the Angolans take the second spot to qualify alongside Ghana.
