South African Airways (SAA) has held its prestigious CEO�s breakfast awards for 2010 in Durban, South Africa. The SAA CEO�S Breakfast Awards is held annually in May and coincides with Africa�s biggest Travel & Tourism Show dubbed �INDABA� at the Airport Luthuli Conference Centre. The event celebrates SAA�s achievements through valued trade partners and stakeholders in the industry, and appreciates their custom with awards. This year, the award hosted guests consisting of trade partners and top travel agents, Regional Country Managers, Sales Executives and Special Limited guests The CEO of SAA, Ms Siza Mzimela, used the platform to outline the 2011-2012 year plans for the airline and awarded distinguished Trade partners. Stellar Travel emerged the proud winner for South African Airways Travel and Tourism Awards 2010 in North and West Africa, in appreciation of outstanding Performance in the promotion of South African Airways and Tourism in South Africa. This is the first time the regional award has come to a Ghanaian Travel agent. Earlier on in the year, Stellar Travel also received the aggregate award in recognition of being the platinum star agent 2010 for Ghana in a ceremony held at the Golden Tulip in April 2011.
