The Sunlodge Hotel was abuzz with enthusiasm and anticipation as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) inaugurated its National Youth Working Committee and Directorates. The ceremony brought together prominent party leaders, passionate youth activists, and student leaders, creating an atmosphere charged with determination and hope for the future.

During his address, National Youth Organizer Lawyer George Opare Addo extended heartfelt congratulations to each appointee, acknowledging their industry and strengths that earned them their positions. He called upon them to approach their roles with unwavering commitment and expertise, recognizing that their ultimate mission is to secure victory for the NDC and the candidacy of HE John Dramani Mahama in the forthcoming 2024 elections.

With passion and conviction in his voice, Hon. Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC, emphasized the significance of upholding and safeguarding the party's interests and constitution. He underlined the pivotal role that the Youth will play in the upcoming general elections, urging the appointees to be fully prepared to lead the charge. Representing the members of the National Youth Working Committee and Directors of the various directorates, Okai Mintah, Chairman of the Youth Working Committee, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Lawyer George Opare Addo and his esteemed deputies for their unwavering trust in their abilities to deliver on this critical mandate. He extended acknowledgment to the party's leadership for endorsing their nominations and granting them the authority to execute their mission.

The ceremony also witnessed the solemn swearing-in of the appointed leaders of the different directorates and ad hoc committees within the Youth Wing. These directorates encompassed diverse sectors, including Operations, Communications and Press Relations, Student Affairs, Traders & Artisans Network, among others.
