Neymar decided a bold new look was in order as he continues to recover from a torn ACL that prematurely ended his season.

The £130million-a-year star is back in Brazil rehabbing his season-ending injury, suffered while playing for the national team, and he looks to have picked up the clippers to his head of hair. 

Posting on his Instagram story, Neymar showed off a shaved new look, one which has divided his loyal followers. 

With his beard shaved - aside from his moustache - and his head almost clipped down to the scalp, Neymar gave a thumbs up with the caption: 'New look!'

'Neymar please delete the story and your moustache,' one fan wrote in response. 

A second said: 'I just came across Neymar's new look...look at the moustache...' 

What the future holds for Neymar while he bids to recover from his serious injury remains to be seen.
