The Maggi Waakye Summit Returns: A Celebration Of Culinary Delights And Community Spirit

The much-anticipated Waakye Summit, Ghana's premier waakye festival, is set to make its return on December 26th at the Efua Sutherland Children's Park, starting at 9 am. The event promises a day of culinary exploration, community bonding, and shared joy for attendees of all ages.

This year's Waakye Summit aims to be more than just a gastronomic experience; it's a celebration of local flavours, community spirit, and the cherished tradition of waakye. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of waakye offerings from esteemed vendors such as Sister’s Waakye- Adabraka, Fulera Waakye- Madina, RockzWaakye- Cantonments, AnadwoWaakye- East Legon, Hajia Waakye Boutique- Madina, and many more.

The event opens its doors to families and individuals alike, with ticket prices deliberately set at ¢30 for a single, ¢50 for a double, and complimentary entry for children. The goal is to provide an affordable and inclusive space for everyone to indulge in the waakye experience.
