Ruling Ghana Requires Working Day And Night — Miracles Aboagye Slams Mahama Over Honeymoon Request

Presidential staffer Dennis Miracles Aboagye has slammed former President John Mahama for demanding a honeymoon period if elected President in 2024.

Mahama, who is the NDC flagbearer, said he will need ample time to find solutions to Ghana's problems after assuming power again.

However, in a post on Friday, January 19, Miracles Aboagye said "we have never needed a honeymoon" and that governing Ghana "is a very serious business that requires real time interventions and no time for holidays."

He noted, "Challenges may come but the true test of leadership is how you rise to the occasion to drive the people towards the path of progress."

Aboagye added that the "job is to work all day and all night to find solutions as the challenges come and not to throw our hands in the air and say we are dead goats or ask for honeymoons."
