Hon. Nana Asafo-Adjei Ayeh, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Bosome-Freho in the Ashanti Region and a member of the National Communications Team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has opined that the Vice President and the Presidential candidate for the 2024 elections, Dr. Mahamudu bawumia, has changed the narratives of Ghana’s body politics.

Nana Asafo Adjei noted that, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is not an unknown quantity in Ghana’s political space.

"Out of the five vice presidents we’ve had from Ekow Kesseh Arkah to him now, Dr. Bawumia is the most visible, the most popular and the most efficient vice President we’ve had. I am not surprised that he is the description I am giving him because he changed the narratives of our body politics through his series of lectures that changed completely the nomenclature of our politics in this country," he said.

Speaking on TV3’s "Big Issues", the aspiring legislator noted that, the numerous lectures of Dr. Bawumia has contributed immensely to the political scene in Ghana.

The Vice President and the leader of the NPP, outlined his Vision for his next government on February 7, 2024 at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) which has resulted a lot of engagement amongst the general public.

Commenting on the Vision of Dr. Bawumia, the Bosome-Freho aspirant noted that, just as all members of Parliaments have visions and goals; that is the same way Dr. Bawumia has also outlined his visions pointed that, his vision is not far from the Vision of the NPP.  

He said, "Dr. Bawumia, as a character in body politics, completely changed our perceptions, our views on the roles of Vice Presidents in this country."
