The Delay In Announcing Your Running Mates Very Annoying - Pratt Scolds Bawumia, Mahama

Seasoned journalist, Kwesi Pratt has lashed out at the presidential candidates of the various political parties for their delay in announcing their Running Mates.

Dwelling on the two main political parties, the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, whose flagbearers, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and John Dramani Mahama are yet to select their Running Mates, Mr. Pratt found this very annoying.

Regarding the NPP, notable names such as Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Energy Minister, Apostle Dr Opoku Onyinah, former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Dr Yaw Adutwum, out-going Minister for Education and Mr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency have popped up as potential candidates for the Running Mate position.

As to who becomes Running Mate to former President John Dramani Mahama, the former Education Minister, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and Togbe Afede XIV, the President of Asogli Traditional Council, have been marked for the position.

Reacting to the issue during Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo", Mr. Pratt expressed disgust over the flagbearers' seeming inability to declare their partners into this year's December elections.

"This delay and antics that the presidential candidates are doing doesn't impress me. Truthfully, I don't like it at all. Name the person and stop the delay. If you can't make up your mind about your campaign team and Running Mate early, what will motivate us to believe when you come into power, you can make up your mind about the key issues about the economy and so on in time. So, for me, this thing is annoying", he exclaimed.
