'Stop The Senseless Commentaries' - Charles Owusu Slams Those Claiming John Kumah Was Poisoned

Charles Owusu has asked those giving various commentaries regarding the cause of the late John Kumah's death to stop it immediately.

News about Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah's death broke on Thursday, March 8, 2024, sending shocking waves across the political divide and many Ghanaians.

Mr. John Kumah, who doubled as the Member of Parliament for Ejisu, passed away after an illness.

But his death has been associated with poisoning, with broadcaster Captain Smart and some people claiming the Deputy Minister didn't die a natural death but was killed by some person(s) within the governing New Patriotic Party.

They cited reasons for his rising through the ranks of the party for his demise.

Commenting on the Parliamentarian's death, Charles Owusu warned the commentators to quit the claims, describing the act as insensitive to the situation of the family.

He admonished them to stop the unnecessary controversies and allow the bereaved family to mourn their dead.

"Stop the senseless commentaries and allow the family to mourn their beloved...Let's allow the family to mourn,"  he said on Peace FM's Friday edition of the "Kokrokoo" show.
