The Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG) on Thursday called on all progressives to rededicate themselves to the revolutionary struggle in the country.
The call was contained in a statement issued by Mr Kwesi Pratt Junior, Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper on behalf of the Forum to commemorate the 51st anniversary of Ghanas Republican status on Friday, July 1, 2011.
We must and will find ways to engage with, support, unify and channel the struggles of the marginalized towards a transformation of our politics and society in line with the revolutionary vision that informed our struggle for Republicanism 51 years ago.
We must and will offer the activists of the emerging mass movement a coherent revolutionary agenda and work with them to develop the organisation, strategy and tactics to realise their transformational potential and liberate our society from transnational capitalist exploitation, the statement added.
