Ghana Fans Fly Saturday To England For Ghana/Nigeria Friendly

Starting Saturday through to Monday, football fans, media personnel and Ghana Football Association (GFA) officials will be airlifted to England for the Ghana/Nigeria international friendly by travel and tour giants, African Origin. According to the CEO of African Origin Samson Deen, the first batch will leave on Saturday, the second on Sunday and the final group on Monday via Lufthansa and Air Brussels. He admonished fans to prepare adequately for the trip by checking weather forecasts, and taking along the appropriate clothing. Mr Deen said those who will fly out on Saturday, including GFA officials, will have the opportunity to watch the Community Shield match between Manchester City and Manchester United at the new Wembley Stadium in London. Daily Guide Sports will give live reports of the match via the papers website, www.dailyguideghana.com as well as mtnmobile newspaper. After the Ghana match, fans will also have the opportunity to watch the England/Holland match on Wednesday as part of the package of African Origin, the CEO disclosed. A few weeks ago, match organizers JV2i Consult named African Origin as the official travel agency for the Ghana-Nigeria match. As a result, a travel package was put together by the travel and tour giants to enable many football loving fans of the Black Stars to travel to the UK to cheer the team to victory at the Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford, venue for the encounter. The CEO of JV2i Consults, Justine Addo, was emphatic on why African Origin was chosen out of the travel agents who showed interest in the partnership, saying, It is with pride that I say here that African Origin Travels And Sports Tourism have been appointed as the official travel partner in charge of all the 1,000 tickets for people in Ghana. The match is expected to attract a high patronage needed to fill the over 17,000-seating capacity stadium.
