Robbers Kill 2

Two persons have been reported dead following an armed robbery attack on two Kumasi-Bolgatanga bound buses at Nabogu in the Savelugu-Nantong district of the Northern region. The robbery attack took place between Pong-Tamale and Nabogu at 1:30 am during which Agya Poku, a 35 year old driver of a passenger bus with registration number GN 2610-10 was instantly shot dead. Another passenger on board the second bus with registration number GC 2610 Z was also shot dead. The two bodies have been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Morgue. Narrating the gory incident to Citi News, Bernard Alantaaba 22, the driver�s mate said the armed robbers blocked the road between Pong-Tamale and Nabogu where they robbed passengers on board the first bus. According to him, the armed robbers stopped their bus but his driver refused to barge which triggered the robbers to shot him through the left door mirror. Bernard Alantaaba revealed that the police got to the scene some 30 minutes after the incident happened. Asked as to how the bus got to the Tamale police Command, Bernard Alantaaba told Citi News that one of the passengers drove it there.
