MTN Ghana - 5 Years Of Consistent Support To Oguaa Fetu Afahye

The telecommunications giant, MTN Ghana, has supported this year�s Oguaa Fetu Afahye of the chiefs and people of the Oguaa Traditional Area with a cheque of GH� 5.000 and GH� 1,000 worth of airtime. MTN also presented assorted souvenirs and a drink hamper to demonstrate the company�s support and commitment to the festival. Presenting the cheque and items on behalf of management and staff of MTN, Mr. Samuel Appiah, Senior Manager for Western and Central business districts indicated that MTN in addition to the donation of cash and other items will sponsor the grand durbar, football gala, investment seminar as well as a royal walk and health screening to make this year�s festivities more exciting for the people of Oguaa and the Diaspora. �We want to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the chiefs and people of Oguaaman whose constant support of our business has contributed significantly to MTN retaining its leadership position in the telecoms industry in the country. He also commended the chiefs and the planning committee for the theme for this year�s celebrations, �Peaceful Co-Existence; Pre-Requisite for the Development of Oguaaman,� stressing that tolerance and peaceful co-existence help in building strong relationships (one of MTN�s values) for the development of not only Oguaaman, but the nation as a whole. Mr. Appiah urged them to take advantage of the recently launched MTN Business which offers tailor-made ICT solutions to Small and Medium scale enterprises to boost their businesses. He reminded the people of Oguaa about Mobile Number Portability (MNP) and encouraged them to join the number one network in Ghana in order to enrich their lives with best offers from MTN. With the deadline of September 30 approaching, he entreated those who have not yet registered their SIM cards to do so.
