NPP Is Bereft Of Ideas When It Comes To Meaningful Political Discourse Felix Kwakye-Ofosu

A member of the Communications Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and an Oil and Gas Analyst, Felix Kwakye-Ofosu has slammed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) accusing them of having the penchant of focusing on irrelevant issues that have no bearing on the development of the country or the well-being of the citizenry. According to him, the NDC government on a daily basis ensures that what needs to be done to improve the welfare of Ghanaians is done, hence the assertion by the NPP that the ruling party is indulging in propaganda lacks basis. To him, he is yet to see a single policy of any substance from the NPP as an alternative political party. NPP has shown an inexplicable inability to engage in any meaningful discourse relative to policy alternatives and the issues that affect the generality of Ghanaians. So I dont even know where they even come from with that particular allegation that we are not focusing on the butter and bread issues he said. Speaking as a panelist on Radio Golds Alhaji and Alhaji, the Oil and Gas Analyst posited that while the NPP lacks any credible economic and social policies, they surely make up for it using politics of insults and political debauchery. Unlike the NPP that has spent billions of the tax payers money on fruitless propaganda exercises just to tell people what they have donethey put up billboards telling people they have done that. They even have spokespersons on everything ranging from infrastructure, to fisheries to what have youyou have their General Secretary, Mr. Kojo Owusu Afriyie, someone who being the Chief Executive of the NPP would expect to embody all that the party believes in and stands for; he has the opportunity to comment on the well-being of the people and all he could is that hes combed the whole of Kumasi on Good Friday and he did not see a drop of rain so it must be the fault of government. Then a Member of Parliament, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, sits on National Television and says that he believes that President Mills won election 2008 because he wore a magic ringthis is the level of discussions that leading likes in the NPP are engaged in and yet their propagandist would have us believe that it is we who do not speak about bread and butter issues, he stated.
