The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested a 22 year old lady, Faustina Donkor, an attendant of Mummy�s Choice Food Joint at Tema Community Four, for stabbing her 29 year old boyfriend, Michael Dautey. Faustina Donkor was said to have stabbed her boyfriend, with whom she has been staying, thrusting the full length of the knife�s blade into his abdomen. Speaking in an exclusive interview with the paper at her office on Thursday, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Tema Regional Police Command, Chief Inspector Olivia Turkson, said �The man is still struggling for life on his Tema General Hospital Bed.� According to her, Faustina Donkor and her machine operator boyfriend at the Tema industrial area, had been living together at Tema Community Four for some years now. Chief Inspector Olivia Turkson said the incident happened at about 05:00 a.m., after the two had woken up from bed. She explained that on that fateful day, Mr. Dautey informed Faustina that he wanted them to separate for a while, but the lady became offended. She disclosed that an enraged Faustina then dashed into the kitchen, emerged with a kitchen knife in her hand, and stabbed her boyfriend in the left upper part of his abdomen, which resulted in the gushing out of his intestines. He was quickly rushed to the Tema General Hospital. The Tema Police PRO hinted that he suspect was currently detained at the Tema Community Four Police Station, and would be arraigned before court. The Tema police spokesperson has consequently cautioned the youth in the country to desist from using offensive weapons under such circumstances, as it could land them in trouble that they do not anticipate.
