Rocky Dawuni On CNN's "African Voices"

Ghana's Afro Reggae star, Rocky Dawuni, was featured on CNN International's "African Voices" program which recently premiered on Saturday, August 20, 2011 to tremendous audience response all around the globe. The Ghanaian star has had a stellar year with the success of his NAACP Image Award nominated "Hymns For the Rebel Soul" album as well as winning the "Best African Artist" at the International Reggae & World Music Awards held in Trinidad. CNN International's "African Voices" highlights Africa's most engaging personalities. This episode shed light on Dawuni's growing global profile as a musician and a champion for social causes. The show featured excepts from the Ghanaian stars recent show stopping performance at the historic Hollywood Bowl alongside Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, Sharon Jones and Rickey Minor.
