Nana Addo Has Only Gained Local And Int'l Notoriety For Abonsam Ta-Wa Addiction

National Propaganda Secretary of the NDC, Richard Quashigah, has pooh-poohed ex-president Rawlings claims that flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, is the most popular politician in Ghana today because of the failure of the Mills-led administration to fulfill its campaign promises. He avers that the NPP flagbearers addiction to abonsam ta-wa (marijuana) and his infamous All-die-be-die comment is what has made him a popular candidate in the country. Mr Rawlings, speaking during a courtesy call on him by the Cuban Vice President, Esteban Laso Hernandez, said frustrations are clearly written on the faces of Ghanaian electorates and it is unfortunate that the high expectations of Ghanaians, for which the NDC was voted for, had become a pipe dream. today, we are in government but weaker than the oppositionif this administration had corrected the misdeeds of the NPP, this government will be flying high. Professor Mills will be sitting so high for the next 20 years, the next 16 years, the next eight yearsbut today we sit here with the opposition figure as the most popular politician, Mr Rawlings said. But the NDC National Propaganda Secretary sharply disagrees. Speaking on Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen programme on Monday, Richard Quashigah posited that the NPP flagbearer is only popular for his inciteful speeches and very desperate to be an executive president in order to outshine his late father who was just a ceremonial president. It is true Nana Addo has become a politician in certain respect. He has become so popular for his association with abonsam ta-wa, the all-die-be-die comment and his unnecessary matters. He has become popular for inciting young people to take up arms against a legitimate authority of the land. I am not the one saying he uses marijuana occasionally, it is the Americans. He has now become both locally and internationally popular for marijuana usage, he said.
