The Eastern Regional Secretariat of the Convention People�s Party (CPP) has indicated that the party presently has no flag bearer. �No single person has presented his or her nomination papers to the authorities for vetting, let alone having been accepted as a nominee for the flag bearer position�a, statement issued in Koforidua on Tuesday and signed by Mr Albert Quarcoo-Zah, Regional Secretary of the CPP, said. The statement urged those who wanted to lead in any capacity to first learn to respect the laws of nature and that those who wanted to lead Political Parties should first learn the laws that governed the Party they intended to lead. �We want to assure Ghanaians that the CPP will present a credible law-abiding citizen who will lead the party to victory come 2012� the statement said. Urging all party members to respect the leadership and the constitution of the CPP, the statement stressed that �He who wishes to fight for the Cross must first learn to obey�.
