The New Patriotic Party (NPP) former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa East has presented 30 banners of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the NPP flagbearer�s, to the Oforikrom constituency. Making the presentation at the inauguration of the constituency�s women�s wing, Hon Dr Edward Baffoe-Bonnie said the gesture was his widow�s mite towards the party�s victory in 2012. He noted that it was important for the portrait of Nana Addo to be visible at every corner, hence the decision to donate the banners which cost GH�3,000. The former law maker emphasized that making the portrait of Nana Addo visible in all areas was significant because the constant view of his picture would leave a lasting memory on the minds of the electorates. The former MP, who was enthused about the inauguration of the women�s wing and the launching of operation win 80,000 votes, urged the beneficiaries to use the banners appropriately. The banners were distributed to the various electoral areas in the Oforikrom constituency for use at their respective areas as part of the 2012 electioneering campaign.
