Managing Editor of the �Daily Searchlight� newspaper, Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie, has slammed the Mills-led NDC administration accusing the ruling party of maltreating its founder and former president of the Republic Jerry John Rawlings whiles pretending as if that they have the best interest of the ex-president at heart. He laments that though President Mills was part of the first group of people to have paid a visit to the former president to commiserate with him when his Ridge Residence was gutted by fire on February 14th, 2010, he has not lifted a finger to help in reconstructing or providing another befitting residence for the former First couple. �If people like me, had not come to the aid of Rawlings, he will be in trouble�his house has been razed down by fire for over a year now. They (Gov�t) haven�t been able to lay a single block�you see the king of hypocrisy? The day Rawlings� house was razed down by fire, the king of hypocrisy was in his night attire to sympathize with him (Rawlings),� he said. To him, it is pathetic that despite having braved all storms to get the NDC where it is today, the current government has relegated its founder to the background and has even gone as far as denying him a sleeping place. �President Mills is very diabolic, pretends to be preaching about peace but could easily defraud you if you give him the chance,� he said. Contributing to discussions on Oman FM, the �Daily Searchlight� Editor labeled President Mills as �ungrateful� for �mal-treating� his former boss.
