Nana Akufo-Addo; Wrong On The Issues, Wrong For Ghana

An outspoken youth activist and a parliamentary hopeful of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mohammed Mubarak aka Ras Mubarak, has taken a swipe at the NPP flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) over what he describes as "stale lecture about visions" in the face of recent flood - caused- casualties. Ras Mubarak said the NPP flagbearer has shown "how dangerously clueless he is to issues affecting Ghanaian families" since Nana Addo has failed to visit or send any relief items to flood victims; a move Ras Mubarak says shows how out of touch Nana Addo is from the rest of the country. He said, contrary to his propped up image, the NPP flagbearer is all froth and certainly has little understanding of what Ghanaians are looking for, adding that it is when one is able to do the small things that people entrust one with the big things. Ras stressed that while President Mills suspended his schedule, toured affected areas and got his hands dirty, the NPP candidate strutted around hotels abroad and issued a meekly and effeminate statement that was bereft of vision or leadership. To Ras, the actions of both leaders have given Ghanaians a fair idea on the difference in leadership. Below is the full statement issued by Mohammed Ras Mubarak
