Ghana�s former President, Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings and Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings have congratulated Muslims on the occasion of the Eid ul Adha festival.
President and Mrs. Rawlingscalled on all Muslims to use the period to meditate on the true meaning andideals of Eid ul Adha, which are exhibited by a willingness to sacrifice as an act of obedience to God.
�Our dear brothers and sisters, as we pray, perform sacrifices and make merry, let us give supplication to Allah, seeking guidance in all we do. Let us also share our merry with friends andneighbours so as to engender true community feeling.�
President and Mrs. Rawlings also called on Muslims to use the period to pray for good fortune for Ghana.
